August was actually a cold and cloudy month. I somehow seemed to captured all the rare sunny moment on photo.

Paris has become addicted to our coffee machine. Every morning when he heard the grinder, he came running and would stay with the coffee till it was done and fully consumed.

On weekend morning, when it was sunny, i let the cats out onto the balcony, where they have met our neighbor's cat a couple of times...

Went to watch dragon boat racing on Treasure island. The view was spectacular! But I spent most of the time waiting in a long line for Korean BBQ. I happened to dress up that day, too. Holding a paper plate full of ribs, walking on the 3-inch heals, I sat behind the crowd, on an wooden trunk and started devouring the ribs. :)

Mi's Turkish friend Pinar invited us over for a Turkish breakfast, with Turkish coffee to follow. She even read Mi's fortune from his coffee ground. The amazing thing happened, a beautiful tree formed in Mi's coffee cup. Even Pinar was impressed. During all of her fortune reading years, she has never seen such a beautiful tree! After breakfast, we went back to the city to listen to SF Symphony in Dolores park. A week later, we went to a Jazz Festival in North Beach with Gui and Matthew. Amazingly, it was another sunny day. On photo, August looked so warm and welcoming...
