Lake Tahoe
I learned skiing on the mountains of Lake Tahoe's north shore:
Squaw, Alpine, and Northstar. I've had many feverish weekends driving up
I-80, emerged in a kind of high. I was in love. With the mountains, the snow,
the blue sky, and the quiet lift rides where I can hear my own heartbeat and
the wind. No matter how many more mountains I would visit, these mountains will
always hold a special place in my heart. I will return to it, year after year.
I'm sure the resorts are thrilled to hear this. =)
