We took a water taxi to Lover's Beach, where Pacific meets Sea of Cortez. I loved those clouds shadows
casted on the distant mountains.
We snorkeled around the same rocks where we dived on Monday. For the first time in my life, I understood what turquoise blue is. :) We saw large school of shinny little fish, adult angel
fish, long nosed sliver cornetfish. Matthew even dived to the bottom and kicked up a sleepy ray!
By the end of the afternoon, we swam towards
Land's End. Took a look at the famous arch, as well as some sea lions, who seemed to possess the same vocabularies as those back in San Francisco's Wharf! |

The evening came gently, casted everything in shadowed blue. We were treated to a splash of sunset as the fishing boats coming home... |

Sunbathing by the roaring Pacific. I finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

| Chileno Beach |
Wednesday, we went to Chileno Bay for some beach dive. We managed two dives before 4pm, 24 hours
prior to our return flight the next day. It was very calm. Schools and schools of fish were hanging out right by the shore! The dives went very well.
It was the first time for all of us to dive without a dive master. We managed to navigate back underwater without a glitch. We stayed above 25 ft for
the second dive, and stayed down for almost an hour. The FUN we had! The reef in the bay provided so much lovely creatures!
I even got a baby blow fish to blow! heehee! Then we saw another Moray Eel, and a lobster. The best of all, Jennie found us an
octopus! It was incredible to watch it changed color and texture of its appearance as it moved through the multi-colored reef. |

Not far from the beach where we dived, another beautiful hotel sat atop a cliff, overlooking the sea.
We had a little celebration for our "diving independence" in the hotel's open air resturant. |

As the night drew near and the spectacular sunset subsided, we were still the only customers in the resturant!
As we walked through the hotel's lavish garden, we didn't see one single guest, nor one lighted hotel room. Leonardo, the old shuttle driver who picked us up from
the beach, confirmed our suspicion. "No guests..." he sighed, spread his hands. That gave us a chilling feeling as we waited for our taxi back to Hacienda. The moon rose. |
| It was our last day in this beautiful place. We woke up early, trying to catch the low tide, so we could walk to the
arch by land. As we arrived at Lover's Beach, we found out that it was no longer possible to reach this famous landmark by land. Julietta washed off
the beach by the arch with her. |
